S3XY Button Mount Steering Highland & Juniper

Boost MeIf you like this print and if you want to support me, feel free to boost me! I really appreciate that! Domo arigatou :)These are my S3XY Button mounts for the steering wheel for Tesla Model 3 Highland (from ‘23) and Model Y Juniper ( from ’25) Steering Wheels. The mounts are taped AND clipped into the steering wheel trim for optimal fit and to withstand any kind of normal button pressure when using the button - works firm and stiff, installation takes 2mins. The use of my provided print profile is highly recommended. Print Direction and angle is tested and works flawless with ASA - necessary for higher car interior temperatures. Also this angle provides greater overall strength. But could be also printed with PLA or PETG, just try it out. Proper surface preperation on the bed recommended - glue it. There are two variants available! The FLOWFORM and STRAIGHT EDITION. The Flowform follows the angle of the steering wheel trim. The Straight Edition aligns horizontal when the steering wheel is in its middle-position.look at the photo gallery for impressions, they both work alike Some generations/trims from m3 highland or my juniper steering wheels are a bit thin, might be possible that despite proper installation, the mounts are bending slightly when pressed - but that is due to the steering wheel trim, but works anyways. Finished print can be sanded down on the edges with a 500 sandpad and also with a tiny file prapred, healed with a little bit of heat at the end, but after removing the supports the visible part of the mount is clean. The model comes with a tiny hole to remove the buttons with a screw driver from behind if necessary, no need to use the factory tape on the backside of the s3xy buttons from enhance, the fitment is great and the buttons will stick into it without taping. Taping to the steering wheel is recommended with 3M VHB 5952 or similar, needs also to be degreased and and a clean surface on the side of the steering wheel trim. Please look at the photo gallery for installation instructions! I normally increase the adhesive force of the tapes on my models with a drop of super glue, so the side that sticks to the model is really properly glued. First clip it with the “hooking part” into the trim, than tape it to the side of the steering wheel. The hook part manages to withstand the pressure from pressing the button in combination with the tape. I added a tight fit version for occasions where the trim and airbag together providing less space in between.
