My OEM 96 Miata speaker has three bolt and the new kicker csc65 6.5inch has four. This adaptor uses the eight speaker grill holes to mount on to the speaker. #8- 32 x 5/8 in machine screws and nuts are require to mount the speaker 2 pack of 8 pk from HomeDepot. Each side need 8 nuts to be hammered or pressed in.
