Bmw E30 - Alpina VDO central gauges pod

**Bmw E30 - Alpina VDO** center diffusor gauges pod. Perfectly fits in place of one of the center air diffusers. Modelled with the original air diffusor dimensions, and its mounting shapes. **Up and down adjustment** are saved. Instead of static position like most of custom designed air vent inserts has. There are **cover_plate.zip** attached, that contains facing label plate. You can find in there ready to print or for some poligrafie works *.png file with templates. Or you can make some own label project with *.cdr (corel draw) source file. If you use standard paper to print this label, you may need to put on top of that some transparent polyethylene cover. Or make this label with some poligrafie works. Also, depending on the density of paper that label printed with, the indicators behind that label can be seen or not. So it is about experimetnation. I used mid-density paper and it works ok. With the help of high indicator brightness, it seen throgh the paper. All of the models in this project are compatible with each other, and assembles into one detail. Designed for **0.28" (inch)** seven-segment indicators (red colored - as in the original version). Two **3-digit** indicators on the top row, and two **2-digit** indicators at the bottom row. You can use **arduino** or **raspberryPi** to make electronic part of this project. **Postprocessing:** After sanding with **180grit**, i have painted models with black structure paint for plastic (as you can see at the pictures). But the original Alpina VDO gauge has glossy surface, the same as the original diffusers. So for more OEM final result, after sanding with **180-220grit**, make one more approach with **500grit** on **wet surface**. You will get a nice surface for glossy paint! --- *There will be much progress with this project in future, with your help.
