2002 - 2006 Honda CR-V Speaker Mount

Adaptor to fit 6.5" speakers in a second generation Honda CR-V (2002 - 2006). I designed this when upgrading the sound system in my CR-V. Initially I'd cut out the speaker part of the factory unit and screwed in my new speakers but wasn't happy with this. Not only did this just feel wrong but window clearance was also an issue. This print replicates the mounting method of the factory speakers for quick and easy install. Be sure to print the clip part on its side so it will spring and not snap. The parts are designed be screwed together using 3.5 x 16mm countersunk wood screws, you could try gluing them but I preferred screws. I also used some sticky backed foam door seal (9mm wide x 6mm tall) to stop rattles and help with sound quality. Depending on the speaker depth you have, you may either want the 20 or 25mm deep versions to clear the glass when the windows are down.
