I wanted to replace the stock chrome emblems with the blacked out OEM emblems that became standard later on. Tesla makes an alignment tool but does not sell it to the public so I scanned my trunk lid and designed my own using a similar idea. The tool has a tab that butts up against the rear view camera, then just tape in place with automotive grade masking tape. I recommend cutting the blue backing tape behind the S before placing on the guide and pulling back each direction to the outside of the alignment pegs. Once the logo is in place on the pegs, press the S in place then continue to pull outwards slowly and press each letter in place before continuing. I also included the fusion file which includes the 3D scan if you need it.
