ND Mazda Miata Recaro Seatbelt Guide

This MX5 seatbelt guide is designed to make your drive much more enjoyable by slightly lowering the seatbelt and adjusting its angle. By moving the belt away from your neck, it helps eliminate that annoying rubbing or chafing. While the exact fit depends on your height and how you like your seat angled, most drivers find it a huge improvement over the standard factory setup. Note: Please keep in mind that this is a comfort accessory, not a safety device. It’s a simple plastic guide held in place by two screws and isn't designed to bear weight or improve crash protection. In the event of a stop or accident, your vehicle's original seat and safety systems do all the heavy lifting. Forces are not transferred through this guide, it will not hold you when your car is upside down (you'll have other problems then). Fits: 2016 and up ND Miata MX-5. ND1, ND2, probably ND3 (they didn't change seats right?). Re-uses stock screws.Designed primarily around Recaro seats, but should mostly fit cloth seats as well. The stock guides are SMOOSHED onto the leather of the Recaros, so this design gives them a bit of breathing room which also might result in the cloth seats having a small gap since they share the same part.There's a thread on MX5Things if you want to see the development history of this, but it's mostly noise.This is version 8 of the design with some improvements in smoothness and shape refinement.Recommend higher strength filament, PETG or better. If using abrasive filaments, consider covering the belt contacting surfaces with resin or anti-abrasive (UMHW) tape as to not impact seatbelt return.
