Engine Cover Fastener Pin For Ridgeline & Pilot

My 2017 Honda Ridgeline has a plastic cowling under the engine hood that covers the radiator area. This cowling is held in place using push-pins which are attached by pressing them into slots on the underside of the cowling. This cowling is removed when performing maintenance. Through the years, I have lost several of the original push-pins. This print design produces replacement pins that seem to work well. I’ve provided two push pins on this design which only differ in the width of the pin base that slides into the receiver. One is 6.25 mm wide and the other is 6.50mm wide. I found that the 6.50mm pin worked well for my Ridgeline and holds the cowling securely - probably better than the original pins did. The size of the pin is imprinted on the bottom of each pin. These are small enough that even with 20% infill and 5 walls, they end up being solid using PLA. I have not driven the truck in really hot conditions and if I have problems with the PLA, I’ll print them in a more temperature tolerant filament. Also, to install the pins I found it best to push them into the cowling slots all the way until they stop. The part number for the original pins is 91547-TZ5-A02.
