Tesla Model 3 Dashboard/VIN Plate Rattle Fix Shim

Tired of that annoying rattle that sounds like its coming from the VIN Plate or dashboard? Turns out, the speaker grille that comes on the original model 3s, doesn't have a great clip holding it in place. This results in the grille slowly lifting up, and rattling against the glass in that area. I've designed a shim which you can press between the dashboard trim and the A Pillar. This puts enough tension on the panel to hold it firmly in place, and can be removed if needed. This model is printed in TPU. I have not tested any other filament, as TPU allows for heat durability and flexibility to place the part. I cannot guarantee this will work out of any other filament. Boost MeThanks for continuing to support my design journey. I make a wide variety of practical fixes for problems that annoy, and hope you'll support me with a boost. It's FREE! INSTRUCTIONSTo install, press one tab between the A Pillar and Speaker Grille as close to the windshield as you can. Then, pull the tab that is sticking out towards the steering wheel until the front tab starts to pop up again. Press the front tab firmly down with something small and flat (DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER! Unless you want to cut up the fabric....) I recommend a trim removal tool, or a 3d printed scraper. Just make sure the edge is DULL. Once the front tab is in, you can press the back tab in until the piece is level. From there, you can push it into the crevice a bit further, which will result in a completely invisible finish. This part was designed with a 2021 Model 3 Performance. If you have any other year or variant, such as a model Y, I cannot guarantee it will work. However, I would love the opportunity to make revisions that fit everyone. Fits: 2018-2022 Model 3 Thanks for taking a look at my model, and I hope it saves you headaches for miles to come. Please rate and boost to support my tinkering journey and keep the fixes coming
